Reasons why non-woven fabrics cannot be reused

2022-02-25

Non-woven fabrics break through the traditional textile principle, and have the characteristics of short process flow, fast production rate, high output, low cost, wide use, and many sources of raw materials. What is the reason why this material cannot be reused?
1. Changes in internal microscopic properties
Green non-woven fabrics are usually made of composite materials. The main material of the cloth is polypropylene, which is processed by meltblown and spunbond technology. The microstructure is fine plastic fibers. In the case of high temperature shrinkage, it is a characteristic of plastic products, but high temperature plastics are not. High temperature resistance is a relative concept, so the non-woven fabric will have a corresponding shrinkage reaction on the microfabric.
2. Sterile barrier properties are lost after use
The non-woven fabric is processed by melt-blown method and spun-bond method, and the microstructure is fine plastic fiber. Shrinkage after high temperature is a characteristic phenomenon of plastic products. There is no high temperature resistant plastic, and high temperature resistance is a relative concept, so the non-woven fabric will have a corresponding shrinkage reaction at the micro level.
Non-woven fabrics can use its small pores to purify the air and block bacteria and viruses. Cut the pom-poms with scissors to avoid irreparable damage offline.
